Shading Nets in Shelter

This presentation looks at how MSF are using agricultural shading nets as part of their shelter solutions. Shading nets are positioned over and around existing temporary shelters/field centres to provide shading for the shelters and people waiting outside them. The nets prevent sunlight hitting the shelters directly, thus  reducing the internal temperature. Various pictures of shading nets in use are shown and a technical specification and guide for use of the netting is given.
