Veit Vogel, NRC/Camp Management Project, gave an overview of the camp
management project and the status of the new edition. Veit Vogel
described how the revised Camp Management Toolkit sets standards for
camp management. He invited any interested organisations to
join the project and encouraged feedback, as it is proposed that the
guidelines undergo further revision. An electronic version is available
from the Camp Management Project website and from Shelter Library.
The hardcopy is due for launch on 4th June 2008, while versions in
Arabic and French are expected in September. Organisations interested
in receiving direct training on camp management were requested to
contact NRC.
