IFRC, shelter and training

The speaker, Graham Saunders, announced his recent new position as
IFRC Shelter Co-ordinator, which is sharing the role of convener/leader
with UNHCR of the IASC Emergency Shelter Cluster. He explained how
his new role with IFRC, to co-ordinate all the work going on in 187
National Societies in shelter, cuts across all aspects of emergency
response.

He extended an invitation to all the organisations present to
participate in the Emergency Shelter Cluster, while explaining the
particular need to disseminate the value and process of the IASC
Clusters Approach to the full range of stakeholders.
