The 2nd Asia-Pacific Housing Forum (first in 2007 hosted in Singapore) took place in the Philippines on 7 – 9th September 2009 and was attended by 440 delegates from 36 countries. The forum looked at examining concrete solutions for housing the urban poor, alternative approaches for housing the urban poor, scalable models involving government authorities, businesses and social organizations, and relief and development stakeholders can explore strategies to bridge the gaps.
