Einar Bjorgo, UNITAR-UNOSAT presented the geographic information system
and satellite imagery tools UNOSAT use to map disasters. These images
are used to assist field assessment, to help determine the extent of
disaster, access, and damage levels. UNOSAT has partnered with CERN to
continue to develop online mapping capacity and further information
sharing.
