The speaker presented shelter frames designed to be used in flood prone areas of Vietnam. He explored how they can be adapted to different risk situations. The speaker also elaborated on how the frame can be used by beneficiaries to obtain loans, thereby bridging from relief to development. A number of contexts were shown where the frame was deployed, including Aceh, Indonesia, after the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004.
