Evaluation of the linkage of relief, rehabilitation and development (LRRD) regarding interventions in connection with the tsunami disaster in December 2004'The Sri Lanka Case Study, as one component of the Evaluation of Linking Relief to Rehabilitation and Development (LRRD) in tsunami interventions, attempts to identify some of the successes and challenges faced by those in need, and to ascertain to what degree the initiatives for relief, rehabilitation and development taken by the population were enhanced or hindered by actions taken by outsiders.
