Learning Lessons From The Cyclone

In October 1999 a super cyclone hit the coast of Orissa. An estimated 10, 000 people died and the livelihoods of many of the survivors were shattered. This study aims to share lessons from the partnership between DFID India, the NGO and government agencies it worked with, and some of the communities that were supported with rehabilitation funds.
