The December 2004 tsunami took a devastating toll on the Indonesian province of Aceh, killing more than 130, 000 people and leaving mere than half a million homeless.
A staggering 116, 000 homes were destroyed and right now Australian Red Cross is putting the finishing touches to a program that will bring new homes to more than 1500 families in Banda Aceh and on the remote islands of Nias, Simeulue and Pulau Nasi.
