The Shelter Centre presented the concept of Transitional Tents, its evolution from a simple project and the current progress made so far. The following steps that will need to be done are:
- Identify core group
- Produce design brief
- Send to engineers
- Build and test prototypes
- Finalise specifications
Organisations such as DFID, Save The Children UK, MSF and USAID expressed interest in the Transitional Tent project.
