Shelter Funding

This session provided the participants with an update on the Shelter Funding process, which supports collaboration, cooperation and consensus between participant organisations. The fund will be managed by Shelter Centre and consistent with DFID Conflict and Humanitarian Fund protocols.

Three proposals were presented to the Meeting participants by the organisations leading the respective projects, these were:

  1. Funding mechanisms for transitional settlement and shelter, led by CARE International
  2. (a) Asbestos (b) Waste Management guidelines, both led by ProAct Network
  3. Shelter training courses, led by RedR-UK
