Shelter Centre presented the development of its new website to host
their services. The new site will include global and local news and
events related to shelter, access to previous Shelter Training material
as well as to Shelter Meeting presentations, the full Shelter Library
with advanced search and filter options, and the ability to upload
documents to share. Shelter Centre indicated that the website will also
include a section called Shelter Community, which will be a portal
enabling users to locate and connect with other shelter specialists,
participate in discussion forums, monitor and participate in various
sector projects, and post and search for jobs. Shelter Centre informed
the participants that the website will be launched at Shelter Meeting
08b.
