Shelter Register is one of ten products and services for sector support that will be developed between 2006 and 2009 by Shelter Centre and collaborating organisations, funded by the DFID Conflict and Humanitarian Fund (CHF).
Shelter Register will be a free listing of humanitarian specialists available for disaster relief work, consistent with and developed in collaboration with the recruitment register of Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief (RedR). Tim Hayward of RedR and Tom Corsellis of Shelter Centre discussed and agreed with the Shelter Meeting participants how the Register will operate.
