Mrs. Corinna Salzer (ETH Zurich/Hilti Foundation) presented a research on Life cycle assesment of alternative building materials for low cost housing.

The study identifies a huge demand of low cost housing and conducted research on economical and environmental impacts of alternative construction materials. A pilot project is currently implemented in cooperation with 'The Homeless Peoples Federation of the Philippines'
