Jérôme Michon opened SM08b by welcoming all participants to MSF-B. He talked about the important role Shelter Meeting plays in building the shelter sector. In particular he stressed the value of the concrete outputs that are disseminated at Shelter Meeting, such as guidelines, which can provide participants with compelling evidence to promote shelter within their own agencies.
