UN/OCHA, IFRC and CARE International gave an update on the progress in
developing the guidelines on the use of timber in emergencies. The
organisations reported that the guidelines are now in the third draft,
and that the next and final peer review session was scheduled for 21st
May 2008. The organisations emphasised that the timber guidelines
drafts could be downloaded free of charge from www.humanitariantimber.org
