An update was given on the 3rd draft of the timber guidelines, which give guidance on the use, logistics and procurement of timber. A history of the project was outlined and previous peer reviews were mentioned. A number of case studies were shown, including Myanmar, Peru, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and the four sections of the guidelines; planning, specification, logistics and construction were outlined.
A request for comments and feedback on the guidelines was made.
The final booklet is due to be launched at SM09a.
