The speaker presented the design and operational history of the winterised NB82 shelter. The NB82 was developed 25 years ago by SDC/HA, and has been deployed in various disaster locations around the world. Potentials and limitations of the structure were discussed. A questionnaire was circulated.

An NB82 shelter was set up by SDC/HA on the grounds of the IFRC headquarters, for inspection by Meeting participants.
