This report addresses the affect of ten years of political unrest in Côte d’Ivoire, with regards to the escalating inter-ethnic tension and violence which has as marred the former reputation for stability and has thrown the country into a state of enduring crises. Two waves of armed conflict and violence – one set off in 2002 and the other following presidential elections in 2010 – both led to massive population upheaval, displacing around a million people on each occasion. This report focuses on how IDP's is rebuilding their lives amid a delicate peace.
