HFHI's Santo Development in Leogane, Haiti

Named Santo by its new residents, Habitat for Humanity International’s permanent development located in Léogâne, Haiti, is a symbol of newfound stability and permanence for families starting life anew. Today, 155 families call Santo home. By the end of 2012, an additional 100 houses will be constructed. Funded in large part by the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank, and many other donors, Habitat’s Santo development will welcome volunteers with Habitat’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project to partner with families to help build the homes.
