This report jointly published by the Commitee for Disaster Management and the Ministry of Planning deals with disaster risk reduction in Cambodia for the period 2008-2013. It makes a statement of hazards likely to be dangerous through the country. Then it highlights the National Plan settled by the government to develop a strong Disaster Management System and strenghten the Emergency Response. The government undertakes mid and long-term projects to be carefully implemented. The aim is to integrate a disater management response at all levels (government bodies, economic sectors. . . ) and sustain the NGO's development for an efficient recovery.
