CORE Workshops offer for the first time the opportunity for Governments and Humanitarian Agencies worldwide to agree and deliver together the same basic technical training, carying the messages of the CCM, Early Recovery, Emergency Shelter, Protection and WASH clusters of the IASC, as a foundation to capacity building and DRR. Interest for the CORE training has been expressed in the following countries: Australia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Myanmar. An Advisory Group oversees the development of CORE, ensuring that training is standardized and responsive to organizational need. The last Advisory Group meeting was held at theShelter Meeting 11b, on November 1-2, in Geneva.
