The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) was rolled out as a tool to gather data on the conditions ofdisplacement in evacuation centres and better inform the humanitarian response. The Department ofSocial Welfare and Development registered its intention to institutionalise the tool for data collection inthe ongoing typhoon response as well as in future emergencies.
